Luxury, drama and glamour are the visual hallmarks of the designs of Cavanagh Baker, a contemporary women’s wear designer based in Nashville, Tennessee. Cavanagh has an eye for bold but classic silhouettes and unique, sophisticated fabrics, a penchant that is demonstrated in pieces like a smart double-breasted wool-cashmere coat with a luxurious Mongolian lamb collar; a black neoprene cocktail dress with an eye-catching asymmetrical hemline; and a slinky catsuit made from an incredible olive stretch metallic twill fabric. She designs everyday wear for women who still practice the fine art of dressing.

Cavanagh's customer approach is steeped in hospitality. Clients are welcomed into her design studio in Nashville’s historic Cummins Station for fittings for her collection of limited edition, made-to-order garments – a service that appeals to Nashville’s community of performers, who are among her target customers. A small collection of Cavanagh Baker ready-to-wear is available in the studio, where Cavanagh also holds consultations and fittings for custom design work, which ranges from evening gowns to short sets.

The collection is available exclusively at the Cavanagh Baker design studio, located in Suite 229C in Cummins Station in Nashville.
